Youth Justice Officer – Solihull
Pertemps is recruiting an experienced Youth Justice Officer to join Solihull’s committed Youth Justice Service. This is a key role focused on supporting young people at risk of offending, reducing reoffending, and promoting safer outcomes for individuals and the wider community.
You will:
- Manage a caseload of young people subject to out‑of‑court disposals, court orders or preventative interventions
- Complete high‑quality assessments, risk management plans and reports
- Deliver direct work that supports positive behaviour change and builds resilience
- Work closely with families, schools, police, health and partner agencies
- Promote engagement, safety and constructive opportunities for young people
You need:
- Experience within a Youth Justice Service or working with at‑risk young people
- Strong assessment, communication and relationship‑building skills
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, risk frameworks and youth justice processes
- Eligibility to work in the UK
