Location: Newbury, West Berkshire
Working Pattern: Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in the office
Rate: £500 per day
Contract: Locum / Interim

Pertemps Social Care are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join a local authority in West Berkshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality business intelligence solutions, analysing complex datasets and producing dashboards and reports to support performance monitoring and evidence-based decision making.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and datasets.
  • Design and develop dashboards and reports using Power BI or equivalent business intelligence tools.
  • Gather, understand and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Analyse performance information and provide meaningful insights to support evidence-based decision making.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand data and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure business intelligence outputs are accurate, accessible and aligned with organisational requirements.

Essential Experience

  • Degree-level education or equivalent relevant professional qualification in a related discipline, such as Information Management, Data Analytics or Computer Science.
  • Significant experience of SQL development and querying complex datasets.
  • Significant experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports or using equivalent BI tools.
  • Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience working with performance information and supporting evidence-based decision making.
