SEN Case Officer – Remote
Pertemps is recruiting an experienced SEN Case Officer to join Shropshire’s Special Educational Needs service. This is a key role delivering high‑quality statutory SEND processes and ensuring children, young people and families receive timely, consistent and well‑coordinated support.
You will:
- Manage a caseload of children and young people with SEND
- Lead on statutory assessments, annual reviews and Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) amendments
- Maintain clear, supportive communication with families throughout the process
- Work closely with schools, settings and multi‑agency partners to ensure coordinated provision
- Produce accurate, high‑quality documentation within statutory timescales
- Support positive outcomes by ensuring the right support is in place at the right time
You need:
- Strong experience in SEND casework or statutory SEND processes
- Excellent communication, organisation and relationship‑building skills
- Solid understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and local authority responsibilities
- Eligibility to work in the UK
