Principal Planning Officer – Westmorland & Furness

Pay rate – £55 – £63 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Westmorland & Furness Council are currently recruiting an experienced Principal Planning Officer for their Planning & Regeneration service in the Penrith, Barrow, and Kendal areas.
 
Hybrid working available
Would consider condensed week
Must have a valid full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
 
Overseeing complex planning applications, leads teams of planning professionals, and advises on policy and legal compliance.
Signing off delegated reports, handle public inquiries and appeals, and support planning committees across areas.
 
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
