Planning Officer – Westmorland & Furness

Pay rate – £40 – £45 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Westmorland & Furness Council are currently recruiting an experienced Planning Officer for their Planning & Regeneration team in the Penrith, Barrow, and Kendal areas.
 
Hybrid working available
Would consider condensed week
Must have a valid full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
 
Shaping sustainable growth, managing planning applications, and delivering key housing and regeneration priorities.
Officers ensure developments align with local policies and benefit communities across the region.
 
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
