We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced full-time Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic, innovative and inclusive Occupational Therapy Team at Southend within a 11 month fixed-term contract capacity.
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced full-time Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic, innovative, and inclusive Occupational Therapy Team at Southend City Council within an 11-month fixed-term contract capacity.
OTs at level 8 assess referrals into the OT team for equipment and adaptations and housing needs, to allow safe management of adults in the community. OT’s assess peoples’ functional needs in their own homes and set plans and goals alongside the person to help them overcome identified difficulties using a range of advice, signposting, equipment and adaptations. This post is to support delivery of OT housing applications and is an essential role within the housing policy.
