Independent Reviewing Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated, IRO to join Liverpool Council within children services.
To independently review, Looked After Children Reviews, Secure Accommodation Reviews, Child Sexual Exploitation meetings and Missing from Care meetings in line with statutory requirements and guidance. This role is for an Independent Reviewing Officer only NOT Child Protection Officer.
Must have significant experience and full knowledge and understanding of Looked After Children legislation, processes and regulatory framework.
Must have at least 3 years permanent post qualification experience to comply with DfE regulations.
