Family Support Worker – West Midlands

Pay rate – £25 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary – 14 hours per week
 
A West Midlands local authority are currently recruiting experienced Family Support Workers for their Access to Work role.
 
To provide practical support to a visually impaired professional during home visits, meetings, and observational work.
Assist with driving them to visits as and when, observing and recording relevant information, navigating documents and meeting materials, monitoring interactions and body language, and relaying key observations to the customer.
Work under the customer’s direction to enable them to carry out their role effectively by completing tasks that are impacted by their visual impairment.

 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
