Family Support Worker – Duty & Assessment (Solihull)

Pertemps is recruiting an experienced Family Support Worker to join Solihull’s Duty and Assessment Service. This is a fast‑paced frontline role supporting children and families at the point of referral, helping ensure they receive timely, effective and proportionate support.

You will:

• Support Social Workers with assessments, visits and direct work with children and families
• Gather information, complete observations and contribute to assessments and safety planning
• Build positive, trusting relationships to help families engage with support
• Work closely with schools, health partners and other agencies to coordinate interventions
• Promote safety, stability and improved outcomes for children

You need:

• Experience working with children and families in a safeguarding or early help setting
• Strong communication, engagement and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced duty environment
• Eligibility to work in the UK
