Children’s Team Manager – Knowsley

Pay rate – £46 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Knowsley MB Council are currently recruiting an experienced children’s Team Manager for their Looked After Children team.
 
36 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
ideally 3-4 days per week in the office
 
Looking for an experienced TM with specific experience of working with cared for children and strong understanding of permanence planning.
 
As a Team Manager in the Cared for Children’s service, you will lead a team of practitioners who:
Undertake care planning and reviews for looked after children and young people helping to ensure they have stable placements that meet their needs and support their aspirations.
Lead complex assessments and interventions.
Support children and young people in understanding their life journey.
Develop strong, purposeful relationships with children, their families and carers.
Work collaboratively with partner agencies to manage risk and promote positive outcomes.
Contribute to service development and practice improvement.
Support less experienced colleagues through sharing your expertise and knowledge.
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
