Children’s Team Manager – Harrow

Pay rate – £45.00 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Harrow Council are currently recruiting an experienced Children’s Team Manager for their First Response team.
 
Hybrid working available
36 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
 
Leading frontline staff, managing urgent referrals, and ensuring statutory assessments protect vulnerable children.
Oversee high-quality statutory assessments (such as Single Assessments and Section 47 enquiries) within required legal timescales.
Guide high-risk safeguarding cases involving children in need, children requiring protection, and public care proceedings.
Monitor team workloads, performance targets, case allocation, and audit compliance to drive continuous service improvement.
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
