Children’s Team Manager – Dudley

Pay rate – £46 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Dudley MB Council are currently recruiting an experienced Children’s Team Manager for their Assessment team.
 
Hybrid working available
37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
 
Leading a front-line team responsible for safeguarding children and making timely, robust decisions at the initial point of intervention.
Manage front-door decisions to ensure children receive the correct response and help at the right time.
Provide clear direction and effective risk management on complex and high-risk cases.
Maintain high professional standards, support staff under pressure, and promote strong practice quality.
Deliver professional supervision, reflective practice guidance, and staff development reviews.
Work alongside partner organizations and senior leaders to coordinate responses, handle high demand, and embed best practices.
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
