Children’s Team Manager – Birmingham

Pay rate – £41.42 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Birmingham City Council are recruiting an experienced children’s Team Manager for their Family Help Child Protection team.
 
Lead a team including Social Workers and Family Support Workers leading in S47 Inquiries.
Provide operational leadership and set high standards of practice and customer care.
Ensure delivery of child-centred services that comply with legal and statutory guidance.
Champion safeguarding and promote the welfare of children and young people.
Drive performance and quality assurance through reflective supervision and evidence-based auditing.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to strengthen local service delivery.
Embed the Trust’s practice model, Connections Count, in everyday team practice.
Manage budgets effectively and ensure value for money.
 
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
