Children’s Social Workers – Knowsley

Pay rate – £42,839.00 per annum
 
Contract – Permanent
 
Knowsley MB Council are currently recruiting Permanent experienced children’s Social Workers for their Cared for Children team.
 
Hybrid working – 3 days office based, 2 days remote per week
Recruitment for 3 Permanent Experienced Social Workers to join a Cared for Children’s team to support children and young people.
Full-time – 36 hours per week
Knowsley Council will not accept applicants who require sponsorship
 
Managing the statutory care of children removed from home or in care proceedings.
Key duties include visiting children in their placements, formulating Personal Education Plans (PEPs), driving “life story” work, and facilitating transitions into adoption or long-term foster care.
 
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
