Children’s Social Worker – Warwickshire

Pay rate – £33.30 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Warwickshire County Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Social Workers for their Children in Care team.
 
Hybrid working available
37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
 
Working to support children and young people who are looked after by the local authority.

• Manage a complex caseload of children in care (from birth up to age 18) and care leavers (including Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children – UASC).
• Create, monitor, and update comprehensive care plans, Personal Education Plans (PEPs), and Pathway Plans in direct collaboration with young people.
• Ensure the voice and active participation of the child or young person are central to all care and pathway decisions.

 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
