Children’s Social Worker – Warwickshire

Pay rate – £38.00 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Warwickshire County Council are currently recruiting experienced Children’s Social Workers for their Support & Intervention team based in Atherstone.
 
Hybrid working available
37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
 
Managing longer-term interventions to progress care plans and safeguard children and families.
Undertake detailed assessments, create tailored care plans, and complete statutory documentation and case records.
Work directly with children and families across various stages, including Targeted Early Support, Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection, and pre-proceedings/court work.
Support children on the edge of care or in care until a clear, appropriate permanence plan or reunification is achieved.
Work closely with parents, carers, and partner agencies to reduce risk, review progress, and participate in multi-agency meetings.
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
