Children’s Social Worker – Warwickshire

Pay rate – £38 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Warwickshire County Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Social Workers for their Children with Disabilities team.
 
Hybrid working available
37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
 
Supporting children and young people with severe, profound, or complex disabilities and their families.
Completing timely children and family assessments to identify needs for support packages, ensuring they align with a SMART plan.
Manage cases for children under Child in Need plans, Child Protection plans, or those looked after by the Local Authority (looked-after children).
Attend strategy meetings, legal meetings, and child protection conferences, and prepare court reports alongside statutory review documentation.
Develop complex support packages and think creatively to help children with disabilities thrive within their communities.
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
