Children’s Social Worker – St Helens

Pay rate – up to £40.00 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
St Helens MB Council are currently recruiting an experienced children’s Social Worker for their Early Help team.
 
Hybrid working – 2 days remote, 3 days in the office – flexible
37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Based at Newton Le Willows Children’s Centre 
 
The Early Help Social Worker is an integral part of the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
 
The role of the Early Help Social Worker is to screen contacts that have not met threshold for Children’s Social Care, assess support needs and recommend a plan of support where needed.
 
The aim is to make the right decision for families at the right time to help families access the right services and support children and young people achieve positive outcomes
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
