Children’s Social Worker – St Helens

Pay rate – £40 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary (Part-time)
 
St Helens MB Council are currently recruiting an experienced children’s Social Worker for their Adoption team.
 
Part-time – 29 hours per week over 3 days
2 days onsite and 1 remote
 
Duties include:
Track children with a likely plan for adoption
Prepare CPR reports and attend SHOBPA meetings
Prepare children for adoption 
Family finding in conjunction with our regional adoption agency and independent adoption agencies 
Preparing matching reports 
Supporting children in their adoptive placements
Supporting adoption applications 
Attending Court 
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
