Children’s Social Worker – Liverpool

Pay rate – £40 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Liverpool City Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Social Workers for their Safeguarding team.
 
Hybrid working – 3 days office based per week
 
Identify and protect vulnerable children from harm.
Duties span multi-agency screening, statutory assessments (under the Children Act 1989), managing Child Protection plans, and preparing court reports.
Collaborate with local police, health, and education teams to ensure positive family outcomes
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
