Liverpool City Council are currently recruiting an experienced children’s Social Worker for their Children with Disabilities Short Breaks team.
Hybrid working – 3 days per week on site / 2 from home approximately
Managing a complex and varied caseload with appropriate supervision, guidance and support, reflecting the function of the team and Childrens Social Care in accordance with policy, procedures, guidance and legislation.
Undertake Short Break Assessments and Carers assessments in reviewing Short Breaks arrangements with full risk analysis
Ensure Care Plans and Reviews are kept up to date at all times
Undertake work within legislative frameworks including the preparation of written statements and representations to the judiciary at Court hearings i.e. SEND Tribunals
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
