Children’s Social Worker – Liverpool

Pay rate – £40 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Liverpool City Council are currently recruiting an experienced children’s Social Worker for their Looked After Children/Permanence team.
 
Hybrid working – 2 days remote, 3 days in the office/in Liverpool
 
The candidate will be experienced in Children in Care and Children Looked After
 
Excellent engagement and direct working skills with children and young people is essential as well
Care and placement planning and minimising risk with a methodical organised approach, ensuring long term improved outcomes
 
Good understanding of Corporate Parenting and Children Looked After legislation and processes
Ensuring stable placements appropriate for individual needs
 
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
