Children’s Social Worker – Cheshire East

Pay rate – £39 per hour  
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Cheshire East Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Social Workers for their Court team based in Crewe.
 
Court Experience is Essential
This role is for a social worker within the court team; this will involve a small case load of around 5 or 6 sets of care proceedings.
You will be allocated children who become subject to care proceedings and once they have concluded, children will be allocated a social worker which best fits their needs.
There is a dedicated team manager and service manager along with a family support worker for the team.
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
