Children’s Social Worker – Buckinghamshire

Pay rate – £38 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Buckinghamshire County Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Social Workers for their MASH team.
 
Hybrid working available
37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
 
Managing initial safeguarding contacts, vetting information, and deciding on the correct level of intervention.
Undertake fast-paced, timely risk assessments to evaluate safety concerns related to issues like neglect, domestic abuse, sexual exploitation, or physical harm.
Decide whether cases meet the criteria for Early Help, Child in Need, or statutory Child Protection (Section 47) interventions.
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
