Children’s Social Worker – Buckinghamshire

Pay rate – £40 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Buckinghamshire County Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Social Workers for their Locality team based in Aylesbury.
 
Hybrid working available
37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
 
Delivering statutory and targeted early help services to support, protect, and care for vulnerable children and young people.
Complete statutory social work assessments to understand each child’s unique needs.
Manage a caseload and take responsibility for active cases.
Build trusting relationships and rapport directly with children, young people, and their families.
Collaborate with parents, carers, and multi-disciplinary professionals (like schools and health workers) to create support, protection, and care plans.
Monitor and review how well support and protection plans are working to improve outcomes.
Keep accurate, up-to-date records and case documentation.
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
