Children’s Social Worker – Buckinghamshire

Pay rate – £38 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Buckinghamshire County Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Social Workers for their Children in Care team.
 
Hybrid working available
37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
 
Managing a statutory caseload to ensure looked-after children and care leavers receive safe, child-centred support.
Establish trusting relationships with children and young people so their views and lived experiences actively shape decisions.
Complete high-quality assessments and create individual, child-centred care plans or pathway plans.
Work closely with families, foster carers, residential workers, and health or education professionals.
Regularly review progress, deliver interventions, and maintain accurate, timely case records.
Represent the local authority in court proceedings when required.
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
