Children’s Senior Residential Worker – Middlesex

Pay rate – £20.38 per hour
Majority Scale 5 + some SO1
 
Merrifields Resource Centre (also known as Merriefield House) is located at 20A Burns Close, Hayes, Middlesex, UB4 0EJ. It is a specialist facility operated by the London Borough of Hillingdon, providing respite care and short-term residential placements for children and young people under 18 with learning or physical disabilities.
 
The centre is designed to offer a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment that promotes independence skills and peer relationships. Key services and features include:
 

• Short Breaks & Respite: Packages of overnight and short-term residential care designed to give families a break while supporting the child’s development.
• Specialised Facilities: State-of-the-art features tailored to disabilities, which include sensory rooms, arts and crafts spaces, and large play areas.
• Supportive Environment: Focused on helping young people build confidence in their daily lives and personal care.

 
Candidates must be available most days and for adhoc.  
Must work 1 month of days until can do nights.
Must have experience in a similar role, especially with children.
