Children’s Locality Team Manager

Locality South 3 days onsite presence needed

Lead and support a Locality Social Work team, driving high-quality, child-centred practice and positive outcomes for children and families.
Provide oversight of complex safeguarding cases from referral through to closure, Child in Need, Child Protection, and legal proceedings.
Ensure children receive the right support at the right time through effective assessment, risk management, and intervention planning.
Develop, coach, and supervise Social Workers, promoting reflective, trauma-informed, and relationship-based practice.
Work closely with partner agencies and community services to deliver coordinated support and strengthen family outcomes.
Drive performance, quality assurance, and compliance with statutory responsibilities while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Contribute to Nottingham’s Target Operating Model by reducing handovers, strengthening early intervention, and building meaningful long-term relationships with families.
