Children’s Advanced Practitioner – Harrow

Pay rate – £40.00 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Harrow Council are currently recruiting an experienced Children’s Advanced Practitioner for their Children in Need team.
 
Hybrid working available
36 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
 
Managing a small complex caseload while mentoring and providing professional guidance to other social workers.
Support, mentor, and provide professional practice guidance to frontline social workers in the team.
Promote high standards of social work practice and help drive continuous service improvement.
Provide expertise and oversight in managing active safeguarding concerns and child protection matters.
Chair and contribute to multi-agency forums, core groups, and strategy discussions.
Maintain high standards of case recording and ensure all statutory reports are completed within required legal timeframes.
Collaborate closely with health, education, police, and other local agencies for positive family outcomes.
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
