Adult’s Social Worker – Cornwall

Pay rate – £32.50 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Cornwall MB Council are currently recruiting experienced adult’s Social Workers for their Transitions to Adulthood team based in Truro.
 
Hybrid or home working
37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Cornwall Countywide – Preferably local to Cornwall, access to a car and able to undertake face to face visits.
Would also consider a remote worker
 
Undertaking needs assessments with young people and their families to establish their eligibility as determined by the Care Act 2014, supporting their transition into Adulthood where eligible.
The role includes liaising with Children’s Services along with Health Services to ensure a smooth transition for those with eligible needs.
 
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
