Pertemps are recruiting for experienced Adult’s Social Workers in Oxfordshire 
This is to work in the Witney area. 

• As a Social Worker in our team, you will play a vital role in supporting adults across West Oxfordshire, making a real difference to people’s wellbeing, independence, and safety. You’ll be part of a supportive duty rota, providing timely responses when people need urgent assistance and ensuring that those facing immediate challenges receive the right help at the right time. 

• Much of your work will focus on delivering high-quality, strengths-based social work in line with our statutory responsibilities under the Care Act. This includes carrying out Care Act assessments, supporting carers, promoting wellbeing, and undertaking safeguarding work to protect adults at risk. 

• We are looking for practitioners with a strong understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and the ability to apply its principles confidently in practice. Risk assessment and positive risk management are also integral parts of the role, helping people to achieve their goals while remaining safe and supported. 

• This is a busy and rewarding position where effective prioritisation and case management skills are important.
