Children’s Social Worker – Buckinghamshire

Pay rate – £38 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Buckinghamshire County Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Social Workers for their Children with Disabilities team based in Aylesbury.
 
Hybrid working available
37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
 
Supporting children and young people who have substantial, long-term, severe, or profound disabilities.
Undertake comprehensive needs assessments (under Section 17 of the Children Act 1989 and the Equality Act 2010) for children and young people aged 0 to 18 with learning difficulties, physical disabilities, complex health needs, or sensory impairments.
Act as the allocated social worker for cases involving Children in Need (CiN), Child Protection plans, and Looked After Children (LAC) where appropriate.
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
