Pay rate £21.02 per hour 
Contract role with Children’s Social Work 
 
Pertemps are recruiting for experienced Family Support Worker in Darlington. 
This is to work in a Children’s Social Work team, and you will need relevant experience and Qualifications (eg NVQ level 3) 

• Darlington are excited to be piloting the Family Help model and are recruiting for alternatively qualified workers to work with families who need support under the remit of child in need.  This role will include practitioners undertaking children and families assessments and case holding children in need including the completion of CIN Reviews and direct work with children and families.  There will be regular multi-agency working.   

•  An induction to the role will be offered with mentoring and coaching available to support the transition into this type of role, past experience of working with children/families is essential so that candidates have developed key skills or areas of interest where their support can be directly beneficial to the families that we work with.  

• You will benefit from being part of a family help team, alongside alternatively qualified practitioners and social workers. You will have regular and reflective supervision by the Team Manager.
