Children’s Advanced Practitioner – Liverpool

Pay rate – £40 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Liverpool City Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Advanced Practitioners for their Safeguarding team.
 
3 days office based, 2 days from home
35 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
*It is essential that all candidates are car drivers and have access to a vehicle*
 

• Hold and manage a complex caseload involving high-risk safeguarding, Child Protection (CP), and Children in Need (CIN).
• Undertake comprehensive risk assessments, implement intervention plans, and conduct regular case reviews.
• Support, mentor, and provide reflective supervision to less experienced social workers, ASYEs (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment), and students.

 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
