Children’s Social Worker – Hillingdon

Pay rate – £39.04 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Hillingdon Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Social Workers for their Family Help team.
 
Hybrid working available
36 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
 
Building trusted, relationship-based partnerships with families in local, community-embedded locality teams to manage cases ranging from Child in Need through to Child Protection.
Complete high-quality assessments identifying family strengths, risks, and support needs using a single unified assessment approach.
Develop, lead, and deliver effective Child in Need and Child Protection plans, coordinating multi-agency support.
Lead purposeful, trauma-informed interventions that improve safety, family resilience, and child wellbeing.
Work closely with schools, health services, police, adult services, and local community partners.
Promote positive outcomes and safeguard children through timely decision-making.
Maintain accurate electronic case records, reports, and assessments.
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
