Children’s Social Worker – Warwickshire

Pay rate – £38 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Warwickshire County Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Social Workers for their Support & Intervention team based in Atherstone.
 
Hybrid working available
37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
 
You will work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children while promoting positive outcomes. Your expertise will help guide families through challenging situations, providing support and intervention to foster healthy development.
 
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments of children and their families to identify needs and risks.
• Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual family circumstances.
• Working closely with multi-agency teams to coordinate support services.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony when necessary.

 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
