Pay rate – £38.43 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary – 3 months
 
Swansea Council are currently recruiting experienced adult’s Social Workers for their Community Mental Health team.
 
Whilst this is a full-time post for 3 months, the Social Worker will be required to be in the office at least once a week in Swansea covering duty, with the rest of the week made up visiting clients in their homes and being able to work from home.
 
The overall aim of CMHT services is to provide a multi-disciplinary integrated approach based upon the principles of a recovery model to care with individuals, their families and carers experiencing the consequences of serious mental illness.
 
The focus of services is to enable people to live as fulfilled a life as possible within the community by maximising their independence. All service users of the CMHT will receive equality of care dependent upon need.
 
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
