Adult Social Worker – Depleted Funds Project
Location: Aylesbury
Rate: £36–£37 per hour
Working Pattern: 2 days onsite

Pertemps are recruiting experienced Adult Social Workers for a short-term project supporting cases involving depleted financial resources.

The successful candidates will be responsible for completing Care Act assessments and working with individuals and families where there are complex discussions around finances and funding.
Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out Care Act assessments
• Managing cases involving depleted funds and complex financial circumstances
• Demonstrating a strong understanding of financial resources and funding considerations
• Preparing and presenting cases to the Funding Panel with a clear and robust rationale
• Having sensitive and sometimes difficult conversations with individuals and families regarding finances
• Working with empathy and professionalism to achieve the best possible outcomes
• Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring assessments are completed within required timescales

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
• Previous experience within Adult Social Care
• Strong working knowledge of the Care Act 2014
• Experience dealing with complex financial and funding-related cases
• Confidence presenting cases to funding panels
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations sensitively and empathetically
