Children’s Social Worker – Sefton

Pay rate – £40 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary  
 
Sefton MB Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Social Workers for their Child Protection team.
 
Hybrid working available
 
Collaborating with families to design, implement, and review Child Protection Plans (CP) and Children in Need (CIN) plans.
Providing statutory help, protection, and assessments to vulnerable adults and children.
Core duties include conducting safety and risk evaluations, writing reports for court, managing multi-agency plans, and leading Section 47 investigations to safeguard those at risk of abuse, neglect, or harm.
 
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
