Senior EHCP Co-ordinator – Bromley
Location: Bromley (Fully Remote)
Rate: £420 per day
Hours: Full Time

Pertemps is recruiting for an experienced Senior EHCP Co-ordinator / Tribunals & Mediation Officer to join a Local Authority in Bromley on a fully remote basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEND professional with extensive knowledge of SEND legislation and a strong background in appeals, mediations, and complex EHCP casework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of complex EHCP cases in line with statutory requirements.
  • Lead on SEND Tribunal appeals from initial response through to hearing.
  • Prepare tribunal documentation, witness statements, and evidence bundles.
  • Attend and represent the Local Authority at Tribunal hearings, Judicial Alternative Dispute Resolution (JADR), Tribunal Case Management Hearings (TCMH), and mediation meetings.
  • Liaise with parents, schools, legal representatives, educational professionals, and partner agencies to resolve disputes effectively.
  • Provide advice and guidance on SEND legislation, the Children and Families Act 2014, and the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality EHCP casework and contribute to positive outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
  • Ensure statutory timescales are met while maintaining accurate case records and documentation.

Requirements

  • Significant experience within a Local Authority SEND service.
  • Extensive experience managing SEND Tribunals and mediation cases.
  • Proven experience attending Tribunal hearings, JADR, TCMH, and mediation meetings.
  • Strong knowledge of EHCP processes and SEND legislation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
