Senior Social Worker – Support & Intervention Team
Location: Warwickshire (Multiple Locations – Stratford, Myton Park & Atherstone)
Rate per hour: £38 per hour
Working Arrangements: Full Time Contract,  Hybrid Working

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join Warwickshire’s Support & Intervention Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated practitioner to work within a supportive service, managing complex cases and helping to achieve positive outcomes for children, young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a complex caseload of children and families requiring statutory intervention.
• Undertake Child in Need, Child Protection and Public Law work.
• Complete high-quality assessments, care planning and risk management.
• Provide support, guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members where required.
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
• Prepare reports and attend meetings, conferences and court proceedings as necessary.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with legislation, policy and statutory guidance.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Significant experience within Children’s Services, ideally within a Support & Intervention or Safeguarding Team.
• Strong assessment, analytical and report-writing skills.
• Experience managing complex child protection cases.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound professional decisions.
• Excellent communication and partnership-working skills.
