Children’s Social Worker – Wirral

Pay rate – £40 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Wirral Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Social Workers for their Looked After Children team.
 
Hybrid working – office based 2/3 days per week
 
To provide high-quality social work services to children and families from initial referral and assessment through to achieving permanence.
This includes undertaking statutory assessments, managing risk, planning for children’s futures, and ensuring timely, stable, and safe long-term outcomes.
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
