Q: How do I submit my hours and when is the deadline for timesheets?

A: Your weekly hours are sent in to who will then input these on to your Local Authorities specialised timesheet portal for your manager to approve. If you are instructed by your consultant to submit your hours via a paper timesheet, (of which a template can be found below) this will need to be completed, signed by yourself and your manager and sent to The deadline for timesheets to be approved is Tuesday 12pm so we advise that any hours are sent in by close of business on the Friday of your completed week.

Q: How do I submit my expenses?

A: Firstly, you will need to liaise with your manager to ensure you are able to claim expenses. Once this is confirmed, you will need to complete an expense form (of which a template can be found below), this will then need to be signed by yourself and your approving manager and sent to Any non-mileage claims will need receipt evidence. Please note any claims must be business related claims only.

Q: How do I get a copy of my payslips?

A: You should receive a payslip each week from your umbrella agency. If you need a copy of a specific timesheet, you will need to request a copy directly with your umbrella agency contact.

Q: When will I receive my weekly payment?

A: If your hours/expenses are approved by 12pm Tuesday, you will receive your weekly payment by close of business Friday. This may differ on bank holidays so please check for regular updates on our website and social media channels.

Q: What are my payment options?

A: The only payment method we operate is via an umbrella agency, this is due to recent IR35 legislation, in which you must comply.

Q: Do you have a list of preferred umbrella companies?

A: Our approved PSL for umbrella agencies can be found below. These agencies have passed our compliance process put in place following the introduction of The Financial Crime Act in October 2017. Any new requests will need to go through this process to safeguard you and us.
