SEND Case Officer – Surrey

SEND Case Officer | Surrey, South East England | £220 per day | 37 hours p/w | Hybrid Working 1 day in office 

Are you an experienced SEND Case Officer looking for your next contract role? We have an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team in Surrey as a SEND Case Officer. 

About the Role:
As a SEND Case Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring children and young people with special educational needs receive the right support and education. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of children and young people with EHC plans, ensuring statutory timescales and duties are met in accordance with the SEND Code of Practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of EHC plans from assessment to review
• Liaise with families, schools, and multi-agency professionals
• Draft and amend EHC plans ensuring quality and compliance
• Monitor outcomes and ensure provision is appropriate and effective
• Attend annual reviews, panel meetings, and case discussions as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a SEND Case Officer within a local authority
• Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and legislation
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
