📍 Location: Tower Hamlets, London (Hybrid working – community, office & home-based)
💰 Pay Rate: £39.81 per hour
⏰ Hours: 35 hours per week
📅 Contract: Temporary
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Integrated Reablement Service within Adult Social Care in Tower Hamlets.
You’ll work with service users in the community for up to six weeks on a rehabilitation programme, supported by in-house Reablement Officers (ROs) who deliver reabling care under the OT’s direction. The service aims to prevent, reduce, or delay the development of long-term care needs.
Key Details:

• Varied caseload including hospital discharges and community referrals.
• Focus on rehabilitation and promoting independence.
• Strong and supportive multidisciplinary team with excellent clinical supervision.
• Band 6 level/equivalent – not suitable for newly qualified or Band 5 OTs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience in physical rehabilitation and case management in a busy setting.
• Based in London to manage any urgent case needs.
• Some remote working available – expectation to complete home visits (risk assessed) and be office-based at least two days per week.
