Occupational Therapist – Adult Social Care
Hourly Rate: £40 per hour
Location: West Berkshire
Hours: 30 hours per week
Contract: 3 months
Working pattern: Hybrid working (approximately 40% office-based)

We are currently seeking a competent and experienced Occupational Therapist to join an Adult Social Care team in West Berkshire on an initial three-month contract.

The successful candidate will undertake assessments in a person-centred manner, using a strengths-based approach to empower adults to maximise their independence and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake holistic occupational therapy assessments within the community
• Apply person-centred and strengths-based practice
• Support service users to maintain independence and wellbeing
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and partner agencies
• Manage a caseload effectively and contribute to care planning

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC registration
• Experience within Adult Social Care
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
