Independent Reviewing Officer, £42ph, Cambridgeshire
Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Independent Reviewing Officer to join Cambridgeshire County Council’s children’s services.

Main responsibilities:

• Chairing statutory Child in Care Reviews in person
• Ongoing monitoring of progress of children’s care plans / pathway plans
• Identifying areas of drift and delay in permanence for children, and escalating as per CCC’s Escalation Policy
• Visiting children outside of Reviews
• Travel to children at their care placements, 50% of whom reside outside of Cambridgeshire

Office base is flexible, to be agreed at interview. Work will include some from home, some office work, but mostly field work.
