We are seeking an innovative and dedicated Social Worker to join our Assessment Team, delivering frontline services that safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete social work assessments and hold Child in Need (CIN) plans.
• Progress cases to Initial Child Protection Conferences (ICPC) where appropriate.
• Conduct joint investigations, with ABE training preferred.
• Apply the Signs of Safety model effectively in assessments and interventions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in social work practice within an assessment team.
• Ability to drive and access to personal transport (Cornwall Council pool cars available for booking).
