Non-Residential Community Scheme Manager, Adult Social Care, £23.94ph
Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Scheme Manager with up-to-date knowledge of care services and familiarity with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to oversee Community Supportive Housing Schemes.
This role is primarily onsite with limited hybrid work options and requires occasional out-of-hours and weekend work to handle emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day management of the housing scheme.
  • Assist Care Managers in setting up and monitoring care packages.
  • Ensure residents enjoy a high quality of life with dignity and independence.
  • Perform daily checks (Monday – Friday) on sheltered accommodation residents and weekly checks on supported accommodation residents.
  • Respond immediately to emergencies, providing necessary support until further help arrives.
  • Liaise with Care Managers, Community Psychiatric Nurses, Doctors, Hospitals, and voluntary organizations to identify and meet individual care needs.
  • Encourage residents to participate in communal activities within the scheme and the local community.
  • Provide a visiting service to older residents in the community, offering support and accessing services as needed.
  • Assist new residents with settling in and familiarize them with equipment and services.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies.
  • Maintain and update residents’ records regularly, reflecting their vulnerability levels.
  • Coordinate with the Emergency Link Office to ensure equipment functionality and accurate client records.

The successful candidate must have recent experience as a Scheme Manager or in a similar role in supported housing services, and evidence of managing supported housing services.
