Children’s Team Manager – Liverpool

Pay rate – £46 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Liverpool City Council are currently recruiting an experienced children’s Team Manager for their Permanence (Looked After Children & Children in Care) team.
 
Must be an experienced frontline Team Manager for our Permanence Service (LAC/CIC) who has strong management skills and a track record in robust decision making and direction
Must have excellent knowledge of all children’s legislation and assessment framework, with good experience of sourcing and management regulated placements and care planning for looked after children and children in care.
Good people management skills 
Excellent performance management skills
12 weeks initial placement
£46ph umbrella/ltd status
Must have at least 3 years permanent statutory local authority experience to comply with DfE regulations
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
